David J. Sculati

David Sculati founded Sculati Wealth Management with a vision to provide a comprehensive, holistic approach to financial planning and investment management. He brings over three decades of industry experience and leadership to his role.



David began his investment career in 1995 at Dean Witter. Following its acquisition by Morgan Stanley in 1997, he helped launch White Pine Investment Company, an independent firm in Livonia, Michigan. For 13 years at White Pine, David served in key leadership positions as Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Compliance Officer.

In 2010, driven by the goal of offering a more robust, client-centric service model, David established Sculati Wealth Management. His philosophy centers on building strong relationships and delivering tailored strategies that go far beyond basic financial planning.

Outside the office, David is deeply committed to community service, proudly serving as President of the Board of Directors for Growth Works, Inc., a non-profit agency in Plymouth, Michigan, providing vital substance use disorder and mental health services to adults and youth.

A dedicated athlete, David spent many years training for and competing in Ironman Triathlons. He now focuses on strength training and enjoys running, biking, and swimming for fitness and leisure. He and his wife, Carrie are proud parents to two adult children: Eleanore, who holds an MSW from Wayne State University, and Anderson, currently attending Michigan State University.
